Not too long ago I shot a cute wedding event in San Jose called “Eat, Drink, Get Married!”. It was held in the San Jose Museum of Art, and had an amazing assortment vendors including some of my favorites… Going Lovely (event design & coordination), and Daughters of Simone (vintage dresses), and now new favorites… Sweet Lauren Cakes.

What a busy start to the season. Love it!
My days have been beautifully filled to the top with editing weddings & engagements, scheduling editorial shoots, planning my birthday getaway weekend in Los Angeles, going to the gym everyday, starting CrossFit, opening up wedding travels to LA (I’ll post some information below!), studying for fun for my personal trainer certificate (because I like learning!), and then all the extra office work one needs to do to.
· Do any of my followers do CrossFit?? I’ve been interested in the CF community since 2010, but never jumped in the CrossFit world until this past week. All I can say is… “why didn’t I get involved in this sooner?!”. Not sure what I was waiting for, but now completely understand why everyone I know who does it eats, sleeps and breathes CrossFit. My friends will surely hate how much I’ll be talking about it, and posting images on Instagram about it. Oh, well!
· Another piece of tidbit that should be bullet point-ed and showcased is that I’ve just started selling some fine-art prints on Society6 to fulfill some requests I’ve received about it. The photo below is for sale on my storefront (and they’re definitely reasonably priced and affordable).
· Yes! LOS ANGELES! I’ve officially added Greater Los Angeles, and Palm Springs to my “Will Travel To” for weddings city list. I plan on opening up a studio somewhere around LA, so it only makes sense I start advertising that I’m available. No additional travel fees, gas mileage, or etc. will be added for Southern California. You can find my Vendor Guide on The Wedding Chicks (love those girls!), and Once Wed!
And yes! I will continue to do the wedding circuit in both the Bay Area & LA Area.
